Skywatch Friday - 12/5/08

Here are a few pictures that I took on Monday (12/1/08).  The first picture is of the moon in very close proximity to the two brightest planets in our sky, Venus and Jupiter.  Click here to read more.

...there was a cold front coming through the area as well. It made for some nice cloud formations and contrasting colors.

    That peachy edge to the sky sure gives me the feeling of autumn. Love the planets. I've been watching them here in AZ.

    I completely forgot to go out and look at the moon and planets. I'm so glad you didn't!

    Beautiful shots! Mine came out a bit darker since I missed the sunset. Great capture!

    Terrific clouds! Nice capture of the moon, too. And the reptile while birding? No thank you. But it might be exciting, I guess!
