Catherine - I do find nest in my yard from time to time. I try to make my yard as bird friendly as possible. Many of the nest in my yard are from birdhouses that I set up for them; like bluebirds and purple martins.

Beautiful eggs! I just saw two young killdeer yesterday...you can see them on my blog..I took a video as well..they are soooo cute.
