It kind of looks like something out of a horror movie. Word of warning - while this attracts hummingbirds, it may scare humans. You may want to inform your neighbors and others around you before putting this on and sitting out in your backyard, or you may find yourself having to explain it to the local police - ha, ha!
You can buy one of these for $79.95. Sounds a little pricey if you ask me but it does look as if they have put a lot of work and detail into this helmet. Read all about it here: http://www.heatstick.com/_eYe2eye.htm
Also, keep your "normal" hummingbirds full this time of year. Hummingbirds are fueling up for their long journey southward in a few weeks.

That is so bizarre and so cool at the same time. I just saw the first hummingbird ever visit my yard yesterday! We don't have a feeder- he was checking out the flowers.
haha! That is sooo cool! I'm going to pass this on to my friends--they will love it too!
I think I'll stick with the regular feeders! It's an interesting idea though!
This is so weird and interesting. LOL
That's what America is all about - ingenuity! I will pass this on to my neighbors with feeders. They will be amazed!
This is just bizarro, but cool at the same time. Expensive yes, but you know how people who love hummers are. I think they would pay the price. When the little guys and girls buzz me in the garden, it often startles me.
Hey, so if you're the only guy in the contest, maybe you'll luck and win the soap.~~Dee
I saw this on the news a couple months ago and thought, "COOL!"
If I had access to it I would try it but I wouldn't pay the $ to have one.
Cool! Just hope the hummer was actually getting some nectar. Thanks for sharing the experience.
