Sunset at Sugar Creek - Skywatch Friday

One of our favorite places to eat on the Outer Banks of North Carolina is a restaurant called Sugar Creek. Arguably, it offers one of the best viewing for dinner on all of the Outer Banks. Sugar Creek sits at the point where the Albemarle and the Roanoke Sound come together.

Soundfront walkways, gazebo and pier offer for great views for waterfowl & wildlife.

Happy skywatching and have a great weekend everyone!

You made me want to pop over for a visit and a dining experience. We would be so excited to see so much water all at once. It's pretty dry here in eastern New Mexico!

Thank you for sharing.

Glad you've got such clear weather! I just spent a week on the Maine coast (saw some puffins)--shrouded in fog the whole time.

Beautiful captures...

I'm having a hard time deciding whether I like the first or second one, the best !! :-)

Your photos are just too wonderful for wordy descriptions, Alan. And since I have been in love with clouds since early childhood (always thought God was playing hide'n'seek with me), I am particularly intrigued by your skywatch photos. Just breathtaking!!

That looks like haven. Love such places. Yesterday I had been to seashore with my friends and colleagues at office and it was lovely. We even sailed to the middle of the ocean and were allowed to float in it! For a guy who's never been in water and who doesn't know swimming, it was an awesome experience. Your shots remind me of yesterday.
