Birthday Girl & Guest

It's hard to believe how fast kids grow up. One minute their wearing diapers and the next their starting school and so on. Where does the time go? This week my daughter turned 5 years old. It only seemed like days ago when I was rocking her to sleep with the bottle.

Last Saturday we pulled out all the stops and threw her a big birthday party. Scroll down to meet some of her special guest.

First is 'Little Billy'.

Here's 'T-Bone' the miniature cow.

Lastly, 'Sheriff M' on 'Pony Boy'.IMG_3785

Needless to say, she and her friends had a great time.

Happy Birthday baby girl!!

Besides the beautiful daughter you have, I noticed the name of the cow. Is that a prophetic name? :-?

Nothing like nature around children, is there? I've been through so many critters with 3 kids, I feel like Mrs. Old MacDonald! ha!

AWHHH, happy birthday to your little daughter;-) Time does move right along, more quickly than we realize. I frequently sit and ponder the question of where does the time go. My daughter will be 21in July. Son is 12 but growing quickly, too. Once they're grown they aren't 'ours' anymore, and to me, that's the saddest part;-(

I can't decide which one is cuter: the alpaca or the cow. In the end I had to choose your daughter though!

Happy Birthday!

Hope you didn't start something with that pony ride, that's how many a budding rider got their start in the world!

That second one really caught my eye. I've never seen a baby alpaca, even on a photo, before.
